Seeing Off
Dark repugnant clouds hang
In great clusters as the departing sun
Musters to shed a little
Beam of significant
Hope.
But to no avail,
Gloom evades;
Darkness prevails.
Even the light has to leave at times!
The rain hastily comes
Sorrowfully
Pouring.
Storms
Thunder in blazing glares
As the car slowly crests the curves
Atop the hill
In tearful silence.
Your plane heavily takes off
Weighed down by surging emotions
Taking a part of me
Into the vast darkness
And sadness of expanding space
While the scent of your hair lingers
The rain utters
Crying for the leaving sun
I see your tears
Dissolving in the rain
Crying for our very first
Parting
My car takes off
As I hear a shooting
Pain cries
Inward
