Entrapment
For every waking moment
A flash of consciousness
Urging, forcing an exit
Hoping to mend rationality
To mount an upsurge of sobriety
to be me once again
Yet those short-lived attempts
Seemingly succumb to your devilishly calming touch
My hatred towards condescension of your beauty
My resentment of your youthful charm and eloquence,
My frailty to your trapping sensuality
Never amount enough courage for even a quiet refusal
Or from within this wonderful pain
I want no escape?
