HOÀNG-ÂN:  A Day In A Life

Summer comes gradually.  The morning coolness.  The heat of the afternoon.  The town goes on bustling with business.  In a corner of the town, time comes with an undercurrent of anxiousness.  Struggling to survive are the unfortunates.  The other side of the track is now on this side.  Circumstances can be viewed to be opportunity to grow.  The Force is the will of an unknown God who is good and long suffering patience.  It is always a cross road to choose.  The war goes on inside the entity called an individual.  The restlessness from failure to carry on a plan.  Time seems to chase the urges to get comfortable.  Life at some moment is full of pain.  Staying with the pain and stop fighting or running away from it is like taking a bitter pill.  Repressing or suppressing an emotion takes away the free expression to deal with the emotion constructively.  And a repressed and suppressing emotion will not go away but will manifest in negative response and sabotage the effort to be grounded and achieving balance in the common reality.  A day starts with plans and schedule but the unexpected steers the day and flexibility becomes a virtue.  In moments of weakness the head bowed into the position of praying.  Humility and love are precious as the source of peace and joy.  No man or woman is an island but need connection.  This is achieved with instilling the concept of equality in social interaction.  Sadly the norm continues with racism and sexism.  Down to the locker room jokes and daily dealing.  Social interaction poses complexity.  A day starts with many challenges to overcome.
