HOÀNG-ÂN: Meandering Lines For Summer
Summer breeze in the branches. Birds flutter on the grass frolicking. Hues of pink on the crepe myrtle blooms. Magnolias generously blossoming on top of the house. Thunders come on early summer rain. The evening cooling in the miraculous living water. In your eyes I see innocent joy. Your arms embracing a doubting faith. Living life one moment at a time. Empty streets wander in a sleepy town. Two hearts beat the same rhythm. In your eyes I see no pain. Standing alone here three hours the distance. In your eyes I see contentment. A birthday is celebration to remind us about love. You were here yesterday when the summer turns into the month of weddings. Summer comes and I missed our first summer. When our legs were strong and strident walking through the town. Summer rain dripping on the roof top. The evening calls your birthday eve. I miss your arm. I need your warm. Summer rain reverie. Surrounding by miracles. Like miracles the town is cradling in cool drops of rain from the sky. Tonight I write our love story into a fairy tale. Summer month. Your birth month summer. Summer rain greeting in your Day. Tomorrow, Darling, you have made it until now. Strong and tall, the ancient oaks mirroring you. We are alive. We are alive.
