HOÀNG-ÂN: THE POETIC FRONT AND THE UKRAINIANS AT WAR
It came like a hurricane of fire and despair destruction. As I remember it came on January twenty-three the year two thousand twenty-two. In the dark at the deepest sleeping. They were awaken into an infernal nightmare. Most died burning on their beds. The news exploded after that. The global community called it The Russian Invasion War; Vladimir Putin claimed that it was just his Special Operation, his project. They were the Ukrainians and their president Volodymyr Zelensky on Victory Day recited a short epic poem which celebrated the ending of World War Two. It was then that I was moved to support the Ukraine war effort. Before that I was specialized on China and the CCP or Chinese Communist Party, Hong Kong, Taiwan and North and South Korea. Victory Day also is called Remembrance Day. In the poem, Zelensky stressed "Never Again" throughout the poem. I was moved and touched to tears listening to his voice; the background was a bombed building which was a rental apartment complex. All those families had died while snuggly sleeping. It was the first time I saw their Ukrainian flag, light blue and yellow. The flag is not regal and structured like that of Germany or the United States. Blue is for blue sky; yellow stands for fields of harvesting yellow. Even the flag was poetic though looked plain and humble. Nevertheless, Ukraine President Volodimyr Zelensky proudly but tactfully leads the courageous and creative Ukrainians to turn the table on Vladimir Putin. Putin said that according to Putin's plan he would took over the whole of Ukraine in two weeks. It is now going into the fourth years for the Ukraine War. on October 13rd, 2025, Ukraine's drones and a Flamingo missile broke through Russian Air Defense System and black-out Moscow for several hours. No one could predict that Ukraine would be wrecking havoc against the Capital City of Russia and exposed all the weaknesses of Putin's defensive system over the city where all of his most important ministries are located. The name of the Ukrainian home-made missile Flamingo is regal and poetic. The Flamingo is a colorful and flamboyant bird. It is known as a calm, cool, patient as well as a ferocious fighter. In depicting those characteristics in the name of their creation, Ukrainians War Cabinet expressed their peace loving nature of their war on the Kremlin to take back the whole of their nation and giving proofs to NATO that Russia can be broken even with 170,000 soldiers in Putin's Liberation Operation into Pokrovsk. With intelligence, inventivity and patience the Ukrainian war plan used drones to destroy all communication by blowing up the command station, led Russian soldiers into a trap by blowing up bridges and road ways. Such a sweet sound to know that Ukraine is gradually cornered Putin. Like in all fairy tells, the hero of the good must be trained and tested, and in the end the Good Guy always wins. Each hesitation or distraction from giving to Ukraine war effort turns my blood boiled.
