a letter of Hope ..

Dear Professors, Friends, and Family ..
Suffering and desperation are not occurred in a particular region, but around the world. However, the innocent ones are the most vulnerable. Please take a very close look at the photo taken by Kevin Carter, then ask yourself what would you do, as if, the unfortunate person in the picture is your biological child?
Ladies and Gentlemen, please open our hearts to every dark corner around the world and let our love and warmth nourish the souls and minds of the unfortunate children. Please reconsider to give a hand putting back the pieces of the young, broken souls together and replace suffering and desperation with the brightest smile on their faces. Please give them a light of hope just .. to breathe, to live, and to love like one of our children.
As a full-time, independent student, I 'd begun to realize that a pair of new shoes and monthly cell phone statement are the luxuries of the rich, in which most of us have the ability to afford and some of us have to struggle to have the effective communication way to get around. Therefore, I did not hesitate and am deeply grateful to join Christian 's Fund to be a part of a child's life from Ethiopia with a monthly gift of $24, at the beginning of the year 2006. In addition, at the moment I received the attached image of "an emaciated girl collapsing on the way to a feeding center as a plump vulture lurked in the background," (taken by Kevin Carter) my tears shed then and as I write to you now when such a powerful image had touched and shaken every corner of my heart. So that, I just had joined Feed The Children with the gift of $8 monthly, within my current capability.
I am also taking the privilege to write this letter to you and to share the information with you in the hope of the love's circle would reach out and touch each of the heart and soul of the unfortunate children, starting from the ones that I know. Please do not hesitate to make a difference in these unfortunate, innocent ones because they are our future and our hope ..
